I’m lydia winter, a boston based actor and model and I’m so glad you’re here! I was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island and have always just loved to play. I come from a family that has always valued art. my father, a musician, teaches just about every instrument you can imagine and my mom is a bookbinder and conservation technician. they are my heroes. my twin sister and I have followed in their footsteps. I chose to take the path less travelled and pursue a career in make-believe. lucky for me, i’ve been doing that since before I can remember, it’s only natural that’s what I choose to do with my life.

I discovered my love of the stage when I attended my first year at the Young Actors Summer Institute at Trinity Repertory Company. 10 year old Lyd had no idea that one summer in 2012 would turn into a lifetime in the theatre. I haven’t left it since.

I currently attend Boston University’s School of Theatre and am expected to graduate this May with a BFA in Acting. Last spring I had the privilege of attending London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where I studied Shakespeare in Performance and achieved a certificate in broadsword from the BASSC.
